When the Zeeland Christian School Spring Art Show blooms in the front lobby, we here at City on a Hill know it is spring!
This year’s exhibit is particularly colorful, featuring lots of big and bright flowers.
Our mission here at City on a Hill is to honor God by cultivating an affordable, inviting and collaborative space for ministries and nonprofits to grow and do more good for our community and world.
No doubt about it, these students’ art makes our entryway especially “inviting” this time of year. So, thank you Zeeland Christian art students! Be sure to stop and take a closer look sometime soon.
And this is a good time to mention how fun it is to get the crowds of students coming in for smoothies, cookies and other snacks on Tuesday afternoons. With staff here prepping for Tuesday evening dinner, Tuesday is the only afternoon the Café is open after 2 p.m. – and it’s a fun time as students to stop by until 3:30 for after-school refreshments.
